We mediate workplace or employment disputes at whatever stage of breakdown in relations but prefer the restoration of relations within the workplace which can lead to so many productive solutions, such as an agreed parting, or change of job, or change of interaction or simple replacement of misunderstanding and resentments with comprehension and acceptance so parties can work well together when needed. Mostly its about building a working relationship that serves not only the parties in the troubles but the employers too.
The structure of workplace mediation will change with the needs of the parties. Sometimes a one off face to face does it, sometimes a short skype mediation will solve it but there are times when reminders and updates of a series of mediation sessions are necessary. Usually a structure that allows both face to face and ODR coupled with some conflict coaching for both parties is very successful.
