Renate has more than 20 year experience working in international banking and commodity trade, resolving disputes along the multimodal trade, transport and finance chain. She has in-depth experience in handling multi-party-disputes, managing efficiently the corresponding time and costs constrains among the participants.
Renate conducts mediations and arbitrations in both English and German, being available for meetings in person as well as via on-line tools.
She holds an English LLM in International Maritime and Transport Law and is qualified in German maritime, transport and forwarding law.
Renate is a CEDR Accredited Mediator (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, London) as well as a Certified Commercial Mediator, accredited according to requirements of the German Mediation Act 2012. She is registered as mediator and arbitrator with a number of international dispute resolution forums (such as LICA, LMAA, GMAA, and RAA). She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London (FCIArb).
